The Entrepreneurship and Leadership Programme is an immersive and customisable experience aimed at international students interested in applying academic theory within a practical, multicultural environment. Held in Madrid, the programme focuses on hands-on learning and innovative methodologies applied to real entrepreneurship projects. Through company visits, specialized workshops, and cultural activities, students explore Madrid's entrepreneurial ecosystem and its global networks. The programme adapts to the academic and professional objectives of each university, offering an experience that enriches their international perspective and skills.

Local business ecosystem

Madrid has established itself as an epicenter for entrepreneurship and innovation in Spain, combining its role as a financial capital with growing support for startups. The city hosts a robust network of incubators and accelerators and receives institutional support from the regional government and the Madrid City Council, with initiatives and funding to encourage business creation. Thanks to its modern infrastructure and diverse entrepreneurial community, Madrid offers a unique environment for developing innovative ideas and projects.

Telefónica's tech startup accelerator, a leader in the tech industry. Wayra supports innovative startups, connecting them with a global network of partners and facilitating market access.
The Venture City

A global investment fund and accelerator headquartered in Madrid, focused on the growth and expansion of tech startups. The Venture City supports entrepreneurs with mentoring and capital, promoting innovation in business models and disruptive technologies.
BBVA Innovation Center

A center dedicated to exploring innovative solutions in the banking and financial sector. It offers programmes and innovation labs where students can closely observe cutting-edge technologies in fintech.
Indra

One of Spain's leading tech and consulting companies, focused on developing solutions in sectors like transportation, defense, and energy. Students will get a close look at how a large corporation implements innovation projects globally.
Google Campus

One of Madrid's top hubs for tech entrepreneurs. It offers coworking spaces and organizes events that connect startups with investors and mentors. Students can hear success stories of startups incubated here and participate in technology and innovation workshops. They'll attend a talk with local entrepreneurs and participate in networking sessions.

As an educational cooperative, we focus on creating impactful Study Tours that prepare students to thrive in a globalised world.

Travelling U’s Study Tours participants are students seeking to connect their academic learning with practical international experiences. They are curious, open-minded, and focused on developing leadership, innovation, and collaboration skills to thrive in a global environment.

Cultural Activities

Madrid is a city that blends history, culture, and modernity, with a vibrant cultural offering that spans from world-renowned museums to local cultural events and festivals.

Students can explore the essence of the city through the following visits:

Prado MuseumAn icon of world art, the Prado houses masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and Bosch. Its collection offers a unique experience to understand Spanish art history and culture in a space of unparalleled artistic value.
Royal PalaceA majestic symbol of Spain’s history, it is the largest royal palace in Western Europe. Its rich architecture and decorated rooms offer a close look at the cultural legacy and grandeur of the Spanish monarchy.
La Casa EncendidaA cultural and social center that hosts activities related to contemporary art, sustainability, culture, and education. Its temporary exhibitions and multidisciplinary programming make it a unique space to explore the social impact of art and innovation. Students can join a guided tour of a current exhibition and attend a workshop on the role of art in social transformation, focusing on sustainability and ocial responsibility.
