The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Programme is a professionalization experience based in Berlin, one of Europe’s most vibrant cultural hubs. The city offers an exceptional stage for learning, where participants can engage with a spectrum of practices ranging from independent initiatives to established institutions.The programme is built around real and practical case studies that respond directly to the current needs. Participants step beyond the classroom to explore hands-on experiences that connect theory with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices internationally.

We tailor the content to align with the specific academic or professional goals, creating taylormade programmes for each organisation.

Various workshops and masterclasses focused on social entrepreneurship, cooperativism, business model creation in the cultural sector, strategic foresight in the arts, and effective communication strategies. Below are some of the available options:

METHODOLOGY
The Methodology behind
The programme is designed to provide a dynamic and immersive learning experience through workshops, and real-world industry exposure, totaling 30 hours.
Each of the four subjects follows a consistent study pattern:
Lectures – Foundational learning through expert.
Visits – Practical insights gained through direct interaction with local initiatives.
Workshop / Project – Teamwork, and problem-solving exercises.

- Berlin Global VillageBerlin Global Village is a place in Berlin where people, initiatives and associations work for social change and global justice. The center is a social space - a place of cooperation, commitment and mutual support - for the organisations as well as for visitors
- Circular BerlinThey contribute to shaping the local Circular Economy Agenda by participating through research, network building, and the implementation of results-oriented projects.
- Decolonize BerlinFor a critical examination of the histories and present of colonialism and racism. For the recognition and reappraisal of colonial injustice. For a decolonization of society as a whole.
- In-VisibleIN-VISIBLE is an agency for gender, diversity and transformation. They dream of a (work) world where power is distributed fairly and it doesn't matter whether you're female, male, or non-binary. A working world that doesn't discriminate against anyone based on (social) background, age, sexuality, skin color, religion, or disability.
- TransektThey cut across disciplines, industries, and sectors to provide guidance on processes of change, innovation, and accountability. Their aim is to be a support and guide in striving towards environmental, economic, and social justice.
This agenda presents a suggested structure for the Learning Expeditions to Berlin on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), designed to offer participants a well-rounded and enriching experience. Over the course of 10 days, we will combine educational sessions, cultural visits, community events, mentoring session, and cultural activities, providing an immersive experience in the local ecosystem. While the proposed content and activities reflect the program’s objectives, the schedule remains flexible and may be adjusted based on opportunities, guest availability, and the specific needs of the group.
